Turbo Tax Vs. IRS free directory?

In the past I own always used Turbo Tax to do my taxes at a cost of almost $60 for state and federal combined. Does Turbo Tax offer any benefit that will engender the cost worthwhile over the Freefile that you can use for free from the IRS website? I am going to owe money this year and I am trying to save as much money as possible. If I can salvage $60 by using the Freefile, thats a start.
