Taxes Questions and Answers

How or should we split mortgage int. and R.E. levy speculation...?

Is it OK for me to claim 100% of these deductions while my partner claims the standard estimate, (we've owned the house since August) or do we each stipulation to claim a portion, even though I earn twice as much. Just trying to maximize our returns...

Answers: You can only claim what you in truth paid. Either of you can itemize or not, it's your individual choice.

If you itemize, see the instructions for Schedule A for the second documentation that you'll both need to attach to your duty returns. You won't be able to e-file surrounded by this case; you'll own to mail surrounded by your tax return.

Answers: So do I, and it is a shame, but our disability checks are taxed about 20%, unbelievable but true, it is the law all income has to be claimed or filed, don't let him go on this or he will pay later plus interest. Yes, he has to file, he may get some back to counteract what he has to pay, but either way, has to be done.
