Answers: Your employer is required to provide or dispatch Form W-2 to you no later than January 31, 2008. If it is mail, you should allow adequate time to receive it previously contacting your employer. If you still do not get the form by February 15, the IRS can lend a hand you by requesting the form from your employer. When you request IRS help, be prepared to provide the following information.
- Your dub, address (including ZIP code), and phone number.
- Your SSN.
- Your dates of employment.
- Your employer's label, address (including ZIP code), and phone number.

HELP!! please-- call for to find institution code i live within (for taxes)?

can someone please tell me, if nearby is a simple website that will tell me what institution district i live in if i enter my address? (for taxes-- call for the school code)

Answers: You don't necessitate a school code for your federal charge return, so you must be referring to a state or local tax return. Since you give us no information, it is impossible to answer your question.
FAFSA's website for colleges :)

3 ways to find out:

1> appointment school nearest you
2> ring up state tax department

3> there should be a association at the state's own website also to school district numbers--listed by COUNTY of residence

also if you file a school tariff return last year, the code is ON THE LABEL they mail you this year.
Use G00GLE to find your state's taxing authority and there will be a record of them there.

New York is my guess but at hand are more states that do this too.
The answer is on your state's dept of taxation website in the instruction book. Without knowing your state or university district none of us can help.
