First off, i file electronically, so ill be getting it within a check form, and when i filed they have to use the last cross on my social security card, its different from the end name on my birth tag which I've used my whole enthusiasm, will i be able to dosh it still?. Second, i moved, i did a change of address but i hear you have to notify them. according to irs.gov i will bring it around june 6th. so its too late to directory a 8822 change of address form. and on the site, u can see where on earth your check is, "Wheres my rebate check", but it said it was unqualified to tell me, did it work for anyone else? or is in attendance another site i can visit to find out?

Answers: Amazing enough the IRS can find you anywhere. I did not database a change of address form however when I forwarded my post through the USPS they report it to the government. By the time I go down and stood in string at my local IRS office they have my new address on report!
I was really suprised since I never file the 8822 but relieved that it wouldnt delay my repayment or rebate! As long as you forwarded your mail you should achieve your check! Good luck

If your check is person mailed by 6/6 it would be sent to your matured address, but send contained by the 8822 anyway, so if it gets returned to them as undeliverable they'll know where on earth to send it to you.
You might hold to show your bank some type of ID to prove that even next to the different names, you are the right party.
