I have be told today that my work is laying me sour in a months time I hold a letter confirming this and the morning my employment will finish.
Am i able to use this epistle now to seize my claim sorted for when i'm out of work if not how long does it nick to process a claim.
Also i rent privately, can i get assistance to clear my rent/council tax whilst i'm out of work??

For JSA you will need to contact them once you enjoy finised working, to claim JSA you are required to be available for work, you may be able to contact them very soon to arrange an interview for when you stop working.
For housing and council tax benefit if you are due to be made redundant soo consequently you can put your claim form in immediately and expalin on your form that you will be made redundant soon. A claim for housing and council tax benefit can start any time inside 13 weeks of your council recieving the claim form. Claim now and be paid sure they have adjectives the details they need they it will be quicker to assess your claim once JSA is sorted.
When you claim housing benefit you will have need of to take proof of your National insurance number, proof of identity, 2 months statements for any sandbank accounts and prrof of any other income, if you privatley rent take your residence agreement too. With JSA(IB) you wouldn't need adjectives of this but because you have be working you will probably get JSA(C) contribution base in which suitcase you willneed to supply these details.
Although if you get a redundancy lump sum this may affect your benefit depending on how much you obtain.
If you complete the housing benefit form now you won't hold to complete the one you get contained by your JSA claim pack which will be dlayed on its way from the charge centre to your local council

As you privately rent, if you enjoy been paying your rent for the later 52 weeks you will get adjectives of your rent paid for the first 13 weeks (housing benefit regulation 13) consequently it will change to the LHA rate.
If the LHA rate is high than your rent you will get the LHA rate from the start of the claim which will allow the council to discharge you up to lb15 in top of your rent per week.
If your housing and council due benefit are not paid inwardly 14 days ofyour JSA being rewarded and you have supplied everything they hold asked for you can get paymentf from them by asking for expense on account that they own to give you beneath housing benefit regulation 93
In relation to council tax, you should bring all of this salaried for you
