No, you can't do that. The only approach they would be deductible is if you owned the store, and the DVDs you bought were for your store. DVDs for your own personal use are never deductible.

No
No! Now if you owned a video store or the retail store after you would be able to. If tour employer required you to buy the DVDs you could run them off of your taxes on a 2106. I don't surmise that is the armour.

describe how corporate dividends are subject to double taxation.?

Answers:
Dr. J is right. See corporate taxes are due on March 15th. So they pay the import tax first. Then the people who bring back dividends from that co. report the dividends on to their personal tax return due April 17th (this yr) So the corporation is tax first and then the recipient of the dividends are taxed second on like income.

Other Answers:
Corporate dividends are paid from corporate profits. Corporate profits are tax (first taxation). The dividend received by the individual is again taxed as income (second tax).

Good luck!
Dividends are not deductible by a corporation as an expense, which creates the first taxation. The shareholder later reports the dividends received from the corporation as income and is taxed on his/her personal return, which is the second taxation.
